How it works

How it works - There are 3 elements that make up a TLC prayer ministry day.

Participation in all 3 components is required for those who require prayer ministry and takes a whole  Saturday from 8:15am to 5pm

Group Teaching

This will take about an hour. This ministry is inspired and undergirded by God’s promises in Psalm 103 and it focuses on four areas of brokenness in our lives, explaining why these are so hurtful and damaging in our lives: • wounds or hurts • sin • bondages • enemy control/contrary spirits.

Prayer Ministry Appointment -PMA
This is the time for:

+ personal ministry and prayer

+ Two Prayer Ministers will pray for you in a private room for about 2 to 3 hours.

+ It is a time to be listened to, under the direction of the Holy Spirit

+ To be prayed for, and be guided to pray for freedom from your past.

+ Those receiving ministry are expected to recognise their responsibility to work with God in the healing process.

Over the years we have seen the Lord pour out his love on those having prayer, setting them free, blessing them, guiding them and restoring them to the abundant life in Christ.

Prayer Vigil

TLC is special in that each person having a PMA, is covered in prayer whilst they are being prayed for. We recognize that nothing can happen without God’s leading and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The Prayer Vigil is led and guided by one of the TLC team members.

If you have a PMA in the morning, you will participate in the Prayer Vigil in the afternoon and vice versa.

The Prayer Vigil actually has 2 significant aims:

  • a place to pray for others

  • a place to learn how to hear God more clearly.

We all need to grow in confidence in hearing God’s voice. This is an easy and enjoyable way to do it, non-threatening, surprising and often exhilarating to discover how God speaks to us all, giving us words, pictures, songs or Scriptures for the person being prayed for. These can be a real breakthrough for that person, giving them confidence that Jesus is really present and loves them, and is part of the ministry
